Sara Carpenter White, RN & LCSW

Sara holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Loyola University and received her Master’s in Social Work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois. Sara is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Sara has worked in the nursing profession for over 30 years and has worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 16 years.

Throughout her career, Sara has been responsible for evaluating overall patient health. Her assessments include evaluations of both medical conditions and mental status. Sara has also helped many patients access resources and support, provided skilled nursing care, conducted specialized therapy sessions and assisted families in navigating medical terminology, diagnosis and procedures.

Sara’s interest in gerontology developed when her own mother came down with Alzheimer’s disease. As Sara walked side-by-side with her mother through this journey, she encountered a world that at times presented significant challenges. Many of these issues were resolved in working with a geriatric case manager.

    Rebecca Sánchez, B.S.

Rebecca graduated from Loyola University with a degree in Special Education. She has worked as a Human Service Specialist for over 15 years.

At the heart of her work Rebecca assists individuals and families in identifying and creating solutions for problematic circumstances. She helps her clients locate resources to support needed life changes as well as increasing overall quality of life.  Rebecca is committed to helping older adults reach their maximum level of functioning.

Rebecca developed a fondness for the field of gerontology as a result of helping her grandmother make the transition of leaving her home and entering into assisted living. This ongoing experience has shown Rebecca both the challenges and rewards of the aging process.
